Where else can you get on the gondola from town and float into the winter sports playfields?

Thanks to the Chur Cableways, the local mountain of Brambrüesch can be reached in just a few minutes. In addition, Chur is only a stone’s throw from other family-friendly resorts including Arosa-Lenzerheide or Flims-Laax.

Popular with children, adults will be equally delighted to soar above Chur as they view snowy landscapes across the Rhine Valley. But the secret star of the show is, of course, the Tschu-Tschu train – a ruby red and verdant green train which looks like it’s been plucked straight from the pages of storybooks – connecting passengers from the top station of the gondola with the ski lift at Brambrüesch.

A family resort at heart, the 20 km of natural snow pistes offer surprisingly varied possibilities at all levels of difficulty (blue/red/black).
