Like all of Davos' side valleys, Sertig is a typical glacier valley with steps and bars. It is a popular tourist destination, especially because of the striking mountains and the waterfall at the back of the valley. That is why it is also considered a particularly protected region in Switzerland. In the Sertig village at 1,861 m above sea level, the little church "Hinter den Eggen", built in 1699, is worth a visit - popular for weddings and baptisms. At the beginning of August, the traditional Sertigschwinget attracts many onlookers. For a stop, we recommend the Hotel Walserhuus Sertig, at the foot of Mittagshorn, Plattenflue and Hochducan, as well as the two restaurants Bergführer and the Mühle Sertig. You can get to the Sertig valley by car, post bus or horse-drawn carriage.
