Nestled amongst the grand Graubunden Alps sits the architectural masterpiece, the AlpenGold Hotel.
A spectacular building in the shape of a recumbent pine-cone, the futuristic, gold-coloured facade was designed by Munich based architects, Oikios.
Upon arriving, guests are welcomed by cozy alpine interiors and the captivating ‘wave chandelier’ – a light installation designed by London-based artist, Moritz Waldemeyer. Comprising of 1,000 hand-blown glass spheres, each ‘bauble’ has been delicately strung to create a suspended wave.
Each of the 216 rooms and 38 suites are adorned with marble bathrooms and private balconies, all of which frame the picture book views across the mountains and valleys beyond.
Located at the foot of the Seehorn and only a few minutes walk from Lake Davos, the Alpengold Hotel’s location provides direct access for long hikes in the mountains along with numerous sporting activities at the lake.
Also home to the elegant restaurant, La Muña, which occupies the entire 10th floor, it’s the perfect space to enjoy pristine panoramic views whilst being served culinary specialties from Peru and Japan.
1,200 m2 alpine spa, kids & teens club (with its own cinema), cigar lounge, cheese factory, herb garden, two bars and three restaurants.
