For two weeks in December, the beautiful mountain village of Lenzerheide hosts the Zauberwald, aka Magic Forest. An open-air winter festival combining light installations, music, culinary delights and a market village nestled amongst a snowy, winter wonderland. It’s a fairy-tale experience not to be missed.

Let yourself be enchanted by the light installations around the market village and immerse yourself in a unique world of experience as national and international illumination artists and musicians transform the Lenzerheide Magic Forest into an incomparable festival for the senses.

Many of the installations are interactive making it a wonderous experience for kids to experience and explore.

In the market village discover small wooden chalets offering tasty treats from regional restaurateurs and hand-made gifts.

There is also an evening concert for children where, each year, Switzerland's best storytellers congregate in the magical yurts to share stories and songs to enchant little visitors and literary lovers alike!
